one year i made these as presents for everyone i know. each hand-sewn heart was made of a different fabric and was festooned with all manner of dried natural elements, much of it gathered from the woods and fields around the house. i was pretty pleased with the way they came out so i made one for us, too. many years from now i hope you will remember to tell the baby girl her grammie made this one.
